The gem that is Rue de Turenne is a charming first floor apartment located close to the Place des Voges, in the heart of the marais. The apartment has been decorated in keeping with its traditional features, including exposed ceiling beams and wooden floors. It has been furnished in an eclectic, slightly Bohemian style, with beautiful antiques and other pieces collected by the interior designer owner over the years. The accommodation comprises a large living room and open kitchen, a master bedroom with shower bath room and a second bedroom (which is accessed from the master bedroom). This second bedroom has a trundle bed (single bed, also with a pull-out single bed), and its own bathroom with bathtub. The kitchen window and both bedrooms and the bathroom (with bathtub) look out over a central atrium with fountain. The atrium cannot be accessed, but provides additional light to all rooms around it. Equipment includes air conditioning, wi-fi Internet, stereo, flat screen TV, a safe, ice machine, washing machine and two French heated towel rails. There are also two fridges, one in the kitchen and the other in the bar area of the living room. There is a telephone for free calls to land lines within France, Europe, the U.S. and Canada - only cell phone calls are charged for these destinations.

Consider spending the day enjoying a full day (10 hrs) private excursion to the Champagne region with your own private vehicle and English speaking driver (with option of a private guide). The first port of call is Reims, about 1.5 hours from Paris, where you will no doubt enjoy discovering the 800 year old Gothic cathedral and historical centre. Enjoy time at leisure for lunch (not included) before experiencing the picturesque landscape of vineyards between Reims and Epernay. At Epernay enjoy a visit to the prestigious wine cellars of Moët & Chandon where you will get to taste their world renowned champagne. Our local representative will come by your villa before your departure this morning and do a walk around of the property to access any potential damage.
