Day 1
Ambergris Caye Ambergris Caye, with its many beaches and the fishing village of San Pedro, is the most popular tourist destination. Along with the other Cayes, it is a paradise for divers with access to one of the most unspoilt coral reefs in the world; Hoi Chan Marine Reserve is a popular dive site where southern stingray and nurse sharks can be observed in shark ray alley. Situated 58km (36 miles) north of Belize City, it is accessible by daily scheduled air flights and boat transfers. A direct flight from Belize City International airport will take you to San Pedro, Amergris Caye. Airport transfer with private vehicle, and driver. With a prime spot near Belize's Great Barrier Reef, and a short drive from the town of San Pedro, Matachica is a haven of beauty and indulgence. The 18 accommodations are offered as individual casitas and villas promising privacy and a unique atmosphere. Lie back on high quality linen and bedding and take in the room's locally-influenced decor. The hotel restaurant, Mambo, is recognized for careful preparation of cuisine and a menu serving continental dishes to suit all tastes. Day 3
Ambergris Caye Hol Chan means Little Channel in Mayan and is a natural break on the barrier reef where ocean depth ranges from 3 to 30 feet. Here guests will enjoy seeing the breath taking myriad of marine life and huge coral garden, among which are flourishing stag horn corals and sea fans. Shark Ray Alley is a shallow water snorkel where guests will enjoy swimming with harmless nurse sharks and southern stingrays - this trip is a famous snorkel trip and a "must do" for Belize. Note: This is a shared tour, not private. Park fee of $10 per person not included. Overnight at Mata Chica. |

Ambergris Caye Sunset cruise: Sit back and relax as you sail towards the Hol Chan Marine reserve where the boat will anchor. Enjoy the sunset as you sip a rum punch and snack on chips and salsa. Return to your hotel in San Pedro afterwards. Note: This is a shared tour. Overnight at Mata Chica. |

Trip Terms & Conditions
- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $250). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. We accept payment via credit card, certified check, wire transfer or money order.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of deposit. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to 100% of program price.
