Day 1
SAN JOSE
Airport transfer with private vehicle, and driver. San José was founded in 1737 and is a pleasant mixture of traditional and modern Spanish architecture. Places of interest include the Teatro Nacional, the Legislative Assembly building, and the Parque Central, east of which is the Cathedral. The National Museum and the Museum of Gold are also worth a visit. Seated in San Jose's downtown core, the Hotel Presidente is a modern hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. One may dine at the hotel restaurant or visit any of a plethora of hotels in the city. The hotel bar is known for great people-watching, as it has a bar counter looking onto the street. Day 2
SAN JOSE-ARENAL
Private transfer between San Jose and Arenal. Stop at the La Fortuna Waterfall en-route (entrance included). Head to the entrance of the waterfall, where you will have spectacular views of the Volcano. Near the waterfall there is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the forest and wildlife while you swim in the crystalline waters of the river (not recommended for travellers with sensitive knees). Entrance fee included to the La Fortuna Waterfall as part of your enroute visit to Arenal. Enjoy lunch at leisure (not included in tour price). Arenal contains an active Volcano, and also the only dwarf cloudforest in Costa Rica. The crater of the volcano is 1.5km (1-mile) wide and contains a hot-water lake which changes color from turquoise to green to grey. ARENAL
Enjoy time at leisure to explore at your own pace, or relax in your hotel. Enjoy lunch at leisure (not included in tour price). Arenal Volcano Tour: Hike 1.5 hours through the rainforest while your private guide offers the history of the Arenal Volcano. This park is located at the base of the Arenal Volcano and is filled with wildlife including monkeys, toucans, coati and a large variety of bird species. Conclude the tour at the Springs Resort - soak in the hot mineral baths and enjoy! After a soothing soak in the hot springs, enjoy a lovely dinner at The Springs Resort. Prepared in a colonial style rustic kitchen, where you will find eating this local cusine an authentic experience.

Day 4
ARENAL
Zip Canopy Tour: Enter into this extensive area of rain forest located in the Arenal River Canyon and enjoy an exhilarating ride through the treetops. Your first platform (one of 13 all together) is 40 Meters (120 feet) above the ground offering a great view of the Arenal Volcano. There are 9 cables which all together offer a ride of over 2 Kilometers with heights reaching 70 meters (210 feet).
